Also I noticed my smaller clown not coming to front to eat. Losing appetite. I just noticed he has a thin white string hanging from his butt. Is this treatable. In display or do I have to use qt. I took qt down. Yesterday and ran it with bleach all night. Emptied and rinsed all day today and its drying.
Yes, food soak General Cure or Fenbendazole following the instructions below:If it is treatable in reef I can put him in acclimation box. To make sure I give him a shot at eating food with meds first. He used to run up to front and eat but he sits in back and doesnt eat much at all
Acclimation box would be a good idea to ensure he gets his fair share of the medicated food. But all fish need to eat it because intestinal worms are transferable with another fish eats the feces of an infected specimen.Do u recommend that I put the clown in acclimation box to give him first dibs to eat. Since he stays in corner and wrasses eat most of it??? Or just feed and hope he eats some
You can try shooting some of the food at him using a turkey baster or pipette.I figured out 4 frozen cubes is 1 tbps per grams to a tablespoon. I just out 2 cubes mysis 2 cubes brine. 1 level scoop pressed against jar of focus. Cut a packet of GC. Measured 1/8 teaspoon. I put a few drops of garlic. A pinch of epson. Letting cubes thaw in fridge. 4 cubes is alot I guess I'll put in zip lock and freeze and use 2 times a day. I'll put him in box tomorrow morning.
Not sure how my blenny is gonna get this. Not sure he eats thia food.
