I recorded a video showing him. At very end when he takes off from his eating spot he does a quick side swipe. My recording is clear. Not sure why youtube made it blurry. Any idea? How to make it clear video after upload

Last 5 seconds you see it

Also I noticed my smaller clown not coming to front to eat. Losing appetite. I just noticed he has a thin white string hanging from his butt. Is this treatable. In display or do I have to use qt. I took qt down. Yesterday and ran it with bleach all night. Emptied and rinsed all day today and its drying.

If it is treatable in reef I can put him in acclimation box. To make sure I give him a shot at eating food with meds first. He used to run up to front and eat but he sits in back and doesnt eat much at all

Yes, food soak General Cure or Fenbendazole following the instructions below:

Using a shot glass:
1 scoop (~ 1/8 teaspoon) of medication
1 scoop Seachem Focus (this makes it reef safe)
1 Tbsp food (preferably pellets or frozen food)
A pinch of Epsom salt to help expel dead worms/parasites
A few drops of saltwater or fish vitamins
Stir until a medicated food slurry has been achieved.
Feed after soaking for 30 mins.
Refrigerate or freeze any leftovers for future use.
You can feed this mix 1-2 times per day. Not recommend to exceed 2 feedings per day with medicated food.

Do u recommend that I put the clown in acclimation box to give him first dibs to eat. Since he stays in corner and wrasses eat most of it??? Or just feed and hope he eats some

Acclimation box would be a good idea to ensure he gets his fair share of the medicated food. But all fish need to eat it because intestinal worms are transferable with another fish eats the feces of an infected specimen.

I figured out 4 frozen cubes is 1 tbps per grams to a tablespoon. I just out 2 cubes mysis 2 cubes brine. 1 level scoop pressed against jar of focus. Cut a packet of GC. Measured 1/8 teaspoon. I put a few drops of garlic. A pinch of epson. Letting cubes thaw in fridge. 4 cubes is alot I guess I'll put in zip lock and freeze and use 2 times a day. I'll put him in box tomorrow morning.

Not sure how my blenny is gonna get this. Not sure he eats thia food.

How does one get it if all fish were qt? With general cure....

You can try shooting some of the food at him using a turkey baster or pipette.

How long do I feed this for?

Secondly? How long does this stay good if I freeze it can I make a second batch of 4 cubes to have on hand? Can I melt it before feeding in a little bit of tank water or does that ruin the meds. First time dosing medicated food.

Any idea how to help the lawnmower to make sure he gets medicated food?

I just tried to feed him with my long coral pipette. Turned off all the powerheads and pumps. Right near him. He had plenty of food around him to eat if he wanted. He spit it out. ? Maybe stomachs messed up he doesnt even wanna eat. Hoping he took a couple tiny pieces in.

Might not need a box as that gave him plenty of opportunity to grab food.

I dont see him moving. I squirt right in his area no pumps on. plenty of time to demolish food but just swims in it lol.. everybody else is eating the medicated food.

I just set up a new 10g qt. I used display water so its same temp and same salt. Added some bio spira. I figured GC in water column might be better at helping him start eating. Since I'm feeding all fish medicated food. Is it ok to put both clowns in qt so they stay together???

The bigger one is thriving in display I'd hate to get him out but I'd hate to seperate them and the. Cause conflicts putting small one back in after he is eating good

*** quick update observation***
I walked by and the clown was in the feeding corner so u ran and got some.medicsted food for the fish. He had his head right up to surface like he used to do with all the fish. I dropped the .edixated brine and mysis. Hes not devouring. But I did see him eat about 3 pieces of medicated food so it's a good start. I might wait to put him in new qt tank I just set up and see if his appetite improves. Not sure if 2 pieces is gonna help him poop out parasites. Lol

If I don't need the qt I can always get a cleaner shrimp and keep him in it until it molts...
