Adding Fish to Display Tank - Fail

It might be. They all stressed for sure. Yellow has shredded the fins of my hybrid black.

I’m thinking at this point:
Remove YT which is a bummer I love the contrast they provide

Remove Clown - he just goes from fish to fish being a little jerk

Remove - I hate to say it - Gem; maybe; he is kind of being a jerk too

When back from vacation (assuming I don’t have some giant breakout killing off stuff) add a few pieces of rock (already planned) and reintroduce the Achilles.

Do you have a house sitter that is also somewhat knowledgeable about fish diseases? Like someone from MARSH? To keep an eye on the situation for you in case things escalate.
Closest would be Deanna (sneezebeetle). You are helping her with the wrasse that has popeye.

While I know Lympho can be contagious, at least it doesn't seem to be the ich you feared it was! Maybe the virus was exacerbated by the stress? I realize this won't help your aggression issues, but at least you won't come home to ich having spread through your tank. I AM sorry that you have to remove some of your fish later. :( I know you like all of them!

We were able to get the YT and clown tang out this morning. Of course as soon as the YT is out the PT starts going at the hybrid black tang 😑

Gonna watch that today to see if it gets any better.

I’m gonna leave the curtains pulled and lights off until later this afternoon.

hybrid black is out more now and Lineatus isn't hiding by the gyre pumps anymore so I think getting the YT and clown tang out helped.

I dunno if I should try to source a smaller YT and try again or not. Thoughts?

Its funny you mention that.

The sailfin tang is the smallest of the zebrasoma tangs in the tank coming in about 1/3 of the size of the Gem tang and it shadows the gem constantly. I dunno if the Gem is just ignoring or what but almost seems like a safety thing. Kind of like no one will mess with me cuz my big brother is around lol... It even goes and feeds from the same nori hanger as the gem. The others head to the other nori hangers.

The only reason I was thinking smaller YT if I try again is the YT/PT/Hybrid black are all the same size and the YT was going nuts on hybrid black.

This is why I removed the clown tang. I’m pretty sure this is due to it. Looks like some kind of injury on the head of the lineatus.

It’s hard to see. In blue picture it’s the white reflection.

I don’t think so. Clownfish look fine. The wrasse has had it for a couple of days - I think this is day 3. Doesn’t seem to be getting any worse.

At this point I don’t have enough QT’s to handle all the fish.

Ick?

I didn’t run the full course of CP on the tank last time

The two fish I worry about with CP are lineatus and blue hippo.

Im fairly certain all the CP is out after changing nearly 200g of water and running GAC in the filter socks.

Can I try CP again?

What’s weird is that one fish seems to be the largest host. The others have a few spots each.

Previously I messed up With the dosing. I’m not traveling again for a bit so will try that first.

so 40mg/gal twice and then 4mg/gal for an additional 28 days.

Other weird thing... not flashing at all that I have seen so far. I would think the BT especially would be going nuts on the rock work and sand.

GAC removed, 40mg/gal dosed.
