HELP Bacterial infection?

Hi guys my mimic tang has finally finished 4 weeks of copper power but has now come up with a tiny mark on his body to me it looks bacterial. Is it possible to bind metroplex/kanaplex with focus?.

Kanaplex works best absorbed through the skin and gills. The spot could just be a rub mark or heater mark. Can't see any discoloration "redness" "necrosis" etc. And the white-ish sign is tough to see on a white-ish colored fish. How do you feel about a bath in methylene blue? Very mild treatment, but nice antiseptic/antibiotic. Or if you think it is bacterial, could do a medicated bath with ABX.

Thank you the advice. Don’t have methylene blue on hand but that would have been my first choice for sure!. Only meds I got on hand is metroplex and kanaplex. What is abx? I’m here in Australia we don’t have much access to meds unfortunately. What would u do in this case? It’s my first ever fish I have successfully qt.

ABX is antibiotics. Kanaplex is an excellent wide spectrum antibiotic. Some others work better depending on the specific problem. Here's a complete list of ABX and other suggested treatment goods from HF:

Thanks for all the info guys. Decided to go with kanaplex/focus mixed in with some pellets.. I also have a product by easy life called voogle have you guys used it before?

No, but it reads like an herbal remedy: Voogle: the new way - Easy-Life

Which sometimes works on bacterial infections, but isn't as strong as antibiotics.
