It looks like they're on top of the skin, which usually means viral/bacterial growths or possibly cysts.

How long have they been there??
Last week 7 days, this has been going on for 3 years now or better in my DT, I can't tell you how many time I ran copper power for 30 days at 2.5 along with running hypo twice and CP once. After the treatment the tank is clean then about 8 weeks later this happens again. Thanks, none of the other fish display this but I lost a giant brown shoulder tang I had for 4 years and broadtail wrasse that was 9 inches, along with 2 butterflies and a clown. Only signs on them was fast breathing and no appetite, Can't separate any due to their size and no accommodation bat fish is about 14 inches. This is DT fish only any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I think you are probably dealing with this: Bacterial Tufts & Viral Nodules

Viral Nodules are more likely IMO because the virus itself lives inside the fish's body. (There is no cure.) The symptoms you are seeing (white nodules) come & go whenever the fish is stressed or something else is causing the immune system to be suppressed. The immune system can send the virus back into remission (meaning, you will see no symptoms) but then there will be flare-ups (symptoms return) for the life of the fish. It's very similar to how the herpes virus effects humans and other animals.

Are you seeing any behavioral symptoms of parasites/worms inside the gills before they die? Heavy breathing, scratching, head twitching, yawning, swimming into the flow of a wave maker.....

Anecdotal. I had a rabbitfish that had the same bumps. And so did the one at the lfs. And they come and go.
my guy died due to unrelated reasons. The lfs one is still very happy.

That is typically either a symptom of velvet or a heavy infestation of gill flukes:

Can you please help me with this question I know I'm a pain, I am in 15 day of copper safe at 2.5 still have fish dying with no outer signs of parasites. Can I use praziquantel with the copper safe and what would be the dosage for 600 gallon fish on DT ( and days when redo dosage ). Please accept my thanks on this matter I'm at the point of calling it quits. Thanks again Carl for your time.

You can dose praziquantel w/copper @ 2.5mg/L (9.5 mg/gal). However, I recommend dissolving prazi powder with DMSO before dosing your tank with it: How To - Use DMSO to dissolve medications

You will also need to greatly increase gas exchange (i.e. run multiple air stones, point wavemakers towards the water's surface) while combining these two medications.

That would increase available oxygen in the tank. :Thumbs_up_green:
Just did a copper test with Hanna (Copper Safe using) been between 2.25 and 2.48 for 15 days (I test everyday ). last night dosed praziquantel in tank, Copper test today went to 2.94, can the praziquantel give me a false reading since no extra copper was dose in tank at 2.43 reading. Thanks Carl

Check your ammonia - People forget, and are shocked at who quickly it builds!

It shouldn’t. Are you dosing Praizpro or prazi powder? If the latter, what are you using as the solubilizing agent?

Praziquantel used DMSO as the article stayed above. yes on high range Hanna its weird because for 15 days straight was in the range 2.25-2.48 then after praziquantel added using DMSO to dissolve powder gives me a reading of 2.94 12 hours after. And I only used a little dims from 1 ml dropper.
