Tested it today now it reads 2.40. Is there any merit to this, my friend said after 3 days of praziquantel I can restart UV and skimmer collecting top again until second dose. Again I can’t thank you enough!
I didn't test, but I certainly am curious. And yes you can turn your skimmer not UV on 48 hours past Pazi
Did you lose all your fish before copper? Do we know what we are fighting here?
lost several prior to copper and praziquantel but the death rate continues most of them lost their appetite and we are in 5th day of Praziquantel & 20 th of copper.
Here is a video I just took I can't see no signs of anything (fluke/ick etc), apparently everyone feels that its Fluke and Ick, but this actually been going on for 3 - 4 years, the copper suppresses it for a month or 2 than comes back. This tank been coppered so many times along with Hypo salinity several times and CP once.
Did my second dose of praziquantel Wednesday when can I start drawing it out and water change , Carl
Have you ever done formalin in there? Might be something to consider.
It will simply come out on its own if you like. Should be out of the water really by now usually we say its around 48 hours so you are good to do your water change

Formalin is dosed once a day at 1ml/10 Gallons for 10 days. Super simple.... Dosed right into the sump...
Thanks I'm probably going to have to try it don't think 30 day copper killed the parasite problem. Is it pretty safe with all fish? And be ok to use in DT with fish only?

Yes it is safe generally speaking. Not sure about sharks or rays. No inverts....
The biggest risk is the bio die-off after the first couple of doses. You can do it in DT, run your skimmer without the cup just to keep oxygen pumping into the tank.
