Hi! I’m new here and new to the hobby. I have a female percula clownfish that hasn’t been eating for a few days. One of my other fish (a blue-green chromis) caught ich and died. The male percula perished from it too. The female one doesn’t have white spots but she hasn’t been eating, her fins are clamped, breathing heavily, and twitching from time to time. I managed to buy Cupramine online (marine fish supplies are rare in our area so I always buy online) and quarantined the female percula. It’s her first day of treatment and the treatment seems to be working since most of her symptoms disappeared in a matter of hours and she seems livelier now. Still, she won’t eat. I read that copper suppresses appetite. On top of that, she hasn’t been eating even before treatment. I tried, pellets, flakes, live food, and even frozen ones. She just wouldn’t eat. I tried dipping her food in garlic extract to no avail. She doesn’t look malnourished, though. I bought Selcon online. Would that help? Any suggestions on how I can entice her to eat? Sorry for the long post. Any help would be much appreciated.
