Cyst like mass on Gem Tang

So when it rains, it pours. After discovering what I’m virtually certain is ick in my DT, I noticed this cyst like mass on my gem tang that is currently in HTTM.

Behavior is great as is the appetite (eating Nori, pellets, mysis, etc) so all is normal other than this mass right in the mid-section. Any ideas what this could be? It is approx. dime to nickel sized and protrudes only slightly.

It was very hard to photograph but I did my best.

Thanks all. Yes, the gem is behaving incredibly well and eating incredibly well for being in QT. Looks extremely healthy overall.

it’s so hard to see in the picture, but the only way I can describe what I’m seeing is like if the tang swallowed a small to tiny marble and it’s lodged in the midsection. I would say the protrusion (which is on both sides), lifts the skin about a 1/2cm on each side of the fish. It’s not much at all.

I’m otherwise really not worried about this fish as it’s been one of the healthiest I’ve QTd
