For what we pay for some of this "aquarium equipment" it should sing & dance for us. Instead it's buggy, breaks easily, shoddy customer service, etc. Like dealing with a used car salesman.
Dave=Rev?That post is still good though, someone who put it all out there. I know Dave has seen this thread and he is seeing threads pop up daily on his forum. Hopefully he is able to look at all this and make something good come from it. I am not going to hold my breath just yet, but there is only so long he can pretend there are not issues that need to be addressed.
We've all been there. Just keep at it and things usually get better. I had one of my tanks wiped out by ich/velvet combo. Same tank something snuck through QT and had to fallow for 76 days again and since then everything has been great. Every fish either went through QT by me or Humble or other vendors. It can be a lot of work to get tanks to turn around, but the end results are worth it. Part of the reason for the high turnover in this hobby though, when things go bad, they tend to go very bad very quickly. Turning it around takes a lot more time.I plan on buying from hobbyist local or here. But I need my tank to turn around. So discouraging l
