First Ever QT - Wrasse?

Never quarantined a fish In my life
Next week I'll receive all treatments

Copper power
API general cure etc

Tank has been fallow for around 3 weeks
so wondering what your procedure is for wrasse?
( as I know they can be sensitive to copper )

Any advice would be great or is it a case of treating them the same?

Not interested in clownfish etc so don't want to QT a fish I'm not necessarily interested in

Regards

You can drop most wrasses into 1.0 ppm Copper Power, and then take a week to slowly (gradually) raise it to 2.0. Keep a close eye on their feeding habits. If they stop eating, stop raising the copper. You can also dose GC a few days after you see that they are eating.
Is there a list of what wrasse would be safe/proven to take copper?

Or is it a case of the individual fish, thanks

Generally speaking, Halichoeres and Pseudocheilinus are easiest to QT / most tolerant of copper + other meds.

Fairy + flasher wrasses are more hit or miss.

Leopards & Anampses are probably the most difficult, because they are primarily pod eaters and it's sometimes hard to get them to accept frozen in QT.

If you can come up with some specific wrasses you are interested in, I can probably tell you exactly what to expect. ;)

I'd be more interested in mainly flasher/fairy wrasse

IE carpenters, red velvet etc,

Going to properly think my stocking through first but just wanted opinions on how to treat wrasse,

Will have a think over next few days and maybe you can all help me re what sort of treatments I should be using,

Yes, but the observation period needs to be done in a second QT at least 10 feet away from the copper QT.

Whilst in observation, I would deworm: https://humble.fish/praziquantel/

@Mleishman94 Of the fish you listed, the only one I've had some difficulty quarantining is the Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse. I did have a higher success rate when using Chloroquine, so possibly a copper intolerant wrasse?? :unsure:

Let's see if some of other vendors have any experience with that wrasse... @Dr.Reef @baybridgeaquarium @JoelM
Got two Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse right now in Copper, and they're doing just fine at 83F, where as a lot of others were not so tolerant, so that specific wrasse is probably OK.

So I’ve had a long time to think about what I actually want in my tank,

this is my new updated list;

I’m wondering what order you’d put them in?/if there’s any problem fish I should know about?

Really appreciate any criticism or tips;
