HF members, we are excited to announce 2 new Fish Disease Experts to our Forum!!
Before we get to that, please take time to read the info below:

TIPS FOR GETTING EFFECTIVE HELP WITH FISH DISEASE OR INJURIES
  • For urgent illness issues post in the HELP! 911 Forum .
  • Adding the red 'HELP" prefix also makes your post stand out to members.
  • Use this tag: @Fish Disease Experts . This alerts all FISH DISEASE EXPERTS.
TAGGING: Please remember ALL staff have other demands on their time. Regular jobs (with varying schedules), different Time Zones, families, personal demands etc.
While we know members are stressed if they post in the 911 section, please keep in mind the following points:

  • Please do not repeatedly tag individual members, if they are not responding that day or evening. Let others help. Realize they are away for a good reason.
  • When FDEs (or others) advise you, don't be put off by short & direct replies. Remember they are taking time away from their job or family to help YOU.
  • Do not be offended if they ask you something you mentioned previously OR if they address a mistake you made. Again they are helping you.

HOW TO BE BETTER INFORMED as EXPERTS HELP YOU:
Be an accountable hobbyist & inform yourself using these resources.

Reading these resources
BEFORE you start QT is invaluable.
If you are in the process of QTing go back and read these NOW.
If you do not QT read "Fish Disease Management" Section & "Fish Diseases" section

If you did not read these before, we won't shame you. But go empower yourself now & use these resources.

1) STICKY THREADS
Read all these important STICKY THREADS in these sections:
  • Fish Diseases - Diagnosis and Treatment
  • General QT Discussion
  • HELP! 911 (Salvage Protocol sticky & Sterlize/Reseed Tank sticky)
  • Fish Disease Management
Other useful sticky threads are also available in:
  • General Fish Discussion
  • Hybrid TTM Discussion

2) HUMBLEFISH & REEF YouTube CHANNEL 🐠
These videos reinforce the info given in the Sticky Threads. Having the visual component makes the concepts very clear.

3) USEFUL LINKS
Right beneath the Humblefish & Reef Banner/Logo is where "Useful Links" is located.
It quickly takes you to valuable stickies, guides & resources.
