Okay I have a guy selling a Achilles tang that has been in hyper salinity 1.018 & 84F since May 10th. And dosing fishkeeper.

Do I need to QT more? The guy seems to think it is good to go.

I don’t know what “fishkeeper” is or what it does, but I doubt it’s a substitute for proper QT: How To - Quarantine

And hopefully he has the fish in hyposalinity, because hypersalinity would mean an excessively high salinity level.
Yes it would help if I said the correct words hyposalinity is what he did. Fish is currently in my QT for TTM. Decided I wouldn't risk it.

Hyposalinity of 1.018 is not going to do anything. Needs to be 1.009. So yes, you are smart to run your own QT as this fish has not been treated at all by the seller.
