Love the encrusting encruster name. Lol.
How is your little dude doing??I turned off the powerhead after reading filefish are weak swimmers, esp the first few days in the tank. And this dude is so tiny. Will turn it back on on monday I think.
thankfully the clowns totally ignore this fish. fella has been hanging out in the bottom left area by the GSP matt.
You just need a Lubbock wrasse in your tank, mine swims around and nips at the clowns. H is asking for trouble no question about it. The clowns have never laid so I think that wrasse will have a big surprise from Momma one day.Netting the clowns and trading into the LFS. They are just too aggressive these days. Don’t want them to kill any of the fish.
Last I checked he is doing just fine, file fish thingsHow is your little dude doing??
Thank you!Great build. Cool system!
Seems all us little guys are crazy!I reached out to Geo reef and Geo himself got back to me at 4:10am (EST) I think he is in Cali so late night reply.
he sent me a BUNCH of info. Will sift through and throughly document the eventual activation.
Tough call. Wish I could offer some advice. Would that laser tool be of use?where should I buy chloroquine phosphate? How much would I need to dose my tank to kill the aiptasia? I am quite sure F aip and aip rx who whatever simply spread them. I have prob 100 now. I want to get in front of it. I can remove most of the corals and fish if need be to a temp 10, 20, or 40g tank. I have been speaking with @Mikeneedsahobbg on his use of it. My tank has no where near as much as his did, but I think it could get there in 6 months.
My hope is the filefish will keep them down, eating them when they are very small in the future. Currently, the file fish himself is very smol. so I imagine he eats VERY tiny ones only, if at all.
