They're all great! The barred goby I had alone has gained so much weight since he got a buddy. He's now a "fish of size" 😂
He rarely came out of his cave when he was the only barred goby in the tank. Now those two are always out and swimming around.

I need to move the most recent batch of barred gobies (two barred gobies and one "naked not barred goby" lol) into the DT. They're doing great in my observation nano. The new firefish in the same observation tank took 3 weeks before I saw them. I was convinced they must have died, but nope, just hiding. I may leave them in the observation tank after I move the other barred gobies into the DT. I'm curious if they will come out more. My last firefish hid non-stop when I added other dartfish so I wonder if that is at all relative to how much they hide.

The moonstone sardines are great too. All the dartfish in my DT live together so it's really cute to see a row of little faces looking back from under their rock.

The springer damsel is currently one of my favorite fish. He's adorable and swims in little circles like the tang when I go to feed them.
Thank you for this Mrs @Lachri I know it sounds silly but I needed to hear this today.

oh, if it's mush and encouragement you want I can do that! You seriously have no idea how appreciative I am to you for all these fish. Between the crap I went through with "dr reef's" half baked QT and then dealing with uronema when I tried QT myself (fish you also helped save), getting new fish would be no fun if it weren't for your QT fish. I don't even worry much when I have stuff shipped from you because they're always bagged so perfectly. I love that you've been bringing in all these smaller fish for those of us with smaller tanks. I would gush over your services more but I figured it would start to get weird and people would think I was going to Kathy Bates/Annie Wilkes you.

I wasnt begging, and now I feel silly. I'm sorry that was inappropriate.

Just been a rough month or so and I am tired of fighting for what I believe in and am starting to get worn down with the "Why don't I simply work a 40 Hour Job like normal people?" Stuff. I am sure as an artist you can understand the struggle bus of being an Owner of something you also love. People don't understand that crossover, that just because I love what I do and I pretty much get by on nothing doesn't mean I am not working hard. Ugh... Again sorry, just one of those days, you know. I appreciate you and anyone that read the above to know that Lisa is a friend to me even though we simply started out as some random buying fish :)

No, not inappropriate at all! We all need to remember why we do what we do sometimes!
It's funny you bring that up, I was JUST talking with @Jposch about that. I had MANY MANY rough years where I questioned my life choices. Just know you're making a difference in the lives of the fish and your customers who buy them.
What is it they say about self-employed? We will work 80 hours to avoid a 40-hour work week. lol. Being sick always makes it SOOOO much worse too. You start to fall behind and REALLY start questioning your life choices. Feel better and know you are SOOOOO appreciated!

There are people out there that understand what you and similar small businesses go through. Sadly there are more that don't or don't care or don't want to take the time to learn. That is the part that irks me the most.

While I personally do not have the experience of using your services as @Lachri noted hopefully it is ok to say that those that do appreciate the care and effort you put into it. Doing what you love on your time with support is priceless. Difficult day aside know there is value in what you do.

All the best.

Well, the world may be ending soon. It must be because, after 7 months, I finally set up the ATO that's been sitting next to my tank! 🥳
One of the bad things about waiting so long after you order something before you open the box is when you contact the company because a part was missing, it's a bit awkward. Avast is taking care of me though. ❤️ I'm using the plug part from something else atm to get the pump powered, but everything seems to be working well.
In addition to not setting up the ATO for so long, a year ago I got a wireless charger from verizon and tried setting up that today too, but it doesn't work. This is what I get for procrastinating so long! sigh.
My only complaint was that there were no instructions and their videos definitely didn't explain everything. That ended up with me having a leak in one area (fixed).

I also set up the light in my sump on a timer and threw some flat branch gracilaria in. I have a TON of it in my observation tank, so why not? It's certainly not going to make my phosphates any worse (1.28 atm 🤦‍♀️)

I went a bit crazy at Aquashella. My plan to buy maybe 2 discosoma mushrooms turned into 16 mushroom frags and then my friend gave me another 9 random frags. I have self-control issues.

So let me pull up your order, I have the last 6 months here, what is your name....

Lisa: "Ummmm, well, umm, you see I had a thing and then a thing happened and you remember that one thing that happened. I ordered it 7 months ago."

Them: "Oh.... You're one of those..."

Ugg I know! I said in my email I would happily pay for the replacement part as I realize that is WAY too long to contact them for something missing. I hate people like me! 🤦‍♀️

Ah, you were honest and I'm sure they could tell. That will take you very far and I'm sure it's the reason they are taking care of you.
100000% this

I moved my last batch of Fishotel fish from @Dierks to the DT tonight. The old barred gobies are not happy about the two ones. They are flaring fins I didn't even know they had. They are finally calming down after an hour or so. One of the firefish got nipped in the face by a wheeler goby. WHY?! He wasn't even near your house! The naked barred goby and the firefish found the dartfish cave right away and moved in with the others.
Here is the tank tonight.

Gasp!! Look how brave my firefish are now!
I was tempted to leave them as permanent residents in observation given how skittish they were but they seem to be much more comfortable in the big tank. 😁
The naked barred goby/unknown sardine mostly sticks with them now that they're in the DT. He gave up on being one of the barred gobies it seems.
