Excuse me Sir, would you please explain yourself? You have NEVER wanted to sit right there. Look what you've done!!

I moved 10 zoa frags out of QT last night. I always place them on the sandbed for a week or so before gluing them in the rock, since they've been used to my weaker QT lights. This pitho crab decided to push them all over so he could sit in the middle /facepalm. 😂

Looks great. I love it. How did you have the lighting setup. It was dark but you could see good. I liked it.
Thanks! It's just my normal kessil tuna blue lights how they always are (mostly blue), but I filmed with my phone in "pro" mode where I could change the warmth/iso/speed. Then when I edited it I threw a filter on top of that that warmed it up a touch more, but it also overexposed and washed out some of the zoas. It's pretty close though to what it looks like in person.

Huge cellphone photo dump!
My QT fish (2 scissortail gobies, barred goby and bangaii cardinal) made it into the DT today. They're doing great. The barred goby has been making a mess digging a cave in the sand for him and his scissortail friends. It's soooo cute how they act like buddies. Odd though, I've not seen the two firefish all day. They didn't even come out to eat. I have NO idea where they are. Hopefully they're just hiding, but it's quite odd.

Anyway, here are way too many photos of the tank. The green clown goby wanted to be in every photo.

Looks great. Your rocks are soo clean!
Crazy from just a few months ago! Between the coralline algae taking over and finally having a good balance of CUC there normally isn't too much GHA or bryopsis at the end of the week! I still scrub a few spots each week where the urchins and snails didn't spend as much time to keep it short enough for them to eat, but it's not much at all anymore.

In other news, the mystery of the firefish continues. I can't imagine something happening to both at the same time, but those two NEVER miss a meal so it's REALLY odd. I moved a rock they sometimes hide under the night before trying to get to a zoa frag that fell, but I checked under it yesterday and no signs they had gotten trapped. 🤷‍♀️

The firefish are both alive! 🥳🥳🥳

I just came in for the 7th or so feeding of the day (I wonder why I have a history of algae issues  ) and they were both out. It's been a day and a half of hiding, something they've never before done. They appear to be really weirded out by the scissortail gobies. The scissortails are completely ignoring the firefish so I'm not sure why they're so upset about them. The firefish got a bite to eat and went back into hiding.

I have the same phone but can't seem to get any good pictures. Any other advice with settings on the pro mode?
Here are my usual settings. I have to adjust iso and speed depending on which area of the tank I'm taking shots of.

Then import that into snapseed (free app from Google I believe) and under "tune image" you can adjust warmth and other stuff even more. I pay for the pro version of Lightroom but snapseed is better.

on iphones you can adjust warmth. Unsure if you can do this on other platforms, but it helps with taking easy phone pics.
Yeah, with "pro" mode on mine (android) you can bump it up to 10k. I then warm it even more with snapseed, although sometimes it will need to be desaturated a bit when doing that or the color is unnaturally saturated. All those photos were taken with my blues all the way up and no lens filter. I've never gotten good shots with the orange filters.

I got 2 feather dusters from Reef Cleaners about 3 weeks ago. One was out of his tube when he arrived. He appears to have died because I've not seen him in a couple of weeks. 😭
This one looked great then a week later lost his floof. But look!! It grew back only a week later! 🥳
It's been cool watching the floof grow larger over the past two weeks. 3 more weeks in QT before he can move into the DT. ❤️

These guys never ever survive home aquariums. Pls avoid them in the future.
