I'm guessing the issue between yours and his is that he has no background noise where he lives so it's more noticeable.

Laus, I think a second reefwave might look too much in there. Maybe something else on the back wall?
I can hear it in the kitchen when it hits 80% of its max power on random mode. That's like 5 to 8 meters away from the tank, 16ft+ in freedom units.

The back wall presents a problem as the cade as it has a false wall that holds the overflow one side and the ato reservoir the other. So the outer magnet needs to be water proof, I was actually thinking of using a reefwave vertical on the back wall in the corner

Yeah, that's not just a lack of background noise then.

Outer magnet could still be placed in water if you enclose it in a large enough resealable plastic bag for the seal to be above water line, just in case.

Unrelated but kinda of related to the second attempt at reefing on a farm.

Modify and upgrade the fly screens,

Finally got the aquascape sorted, only added 4 more pieces of rock the get it to where it is. I got to have a better look at the art reef rock that spent 7 months in a mates tank and it's full of life- sponges, pods ect also being adding af life source and a couple of Molly's that had being in salt for months as a clean up crew

You ok now? Sorry to hear the news. Anything you need help with sing out mate!
Thanks mate, much appreciated. Feeling better today than I was last night but I have prednisone pumping through my body so that's expected. Got to make a phone appointment with my specialist next week to discuss the likely possibility that I can't take amoxicillin anymore
