July 11 LCA 165 Gallion dosing: all dosing was done in the evening when lights were off and NO water changes! No Aminos or Iron dosing since my theory is why LCA came back second round. This work for my system, it might not work on yours. Every tank is so different.
Day 1- Spong Excell Brightwell 30 ML, 1Val BioDigest-skimmer/UV off 4-6 hours
Day 2-50 MLSpongExcel Silica Solution,1 vial BioDigest-skimmer, and UV off overnight for about 7-8 hours
Day 3-nothing
Day 4-2 bottles of PODS (16 oz)- six species of pods (K&P Aquaculture), Phyto-200ml blend,1 vial of BioDigest-skimmer/UV off 4 hours
Day -5- ½ bottle of Phyto about 30 OZ-wave makers off 20 min,20 drops of SpongExcel Silica Solution-UV, skimmer off -4 hours
Day -6 -30 oz of Phyto, 30 drops SpongExcel Silica Solution, 1 vial of BioDigest-UV, and skimmer of -4 hours
Day-7-300-400 ml of Phyto used all remaining SpongExcel Silica Solution,
Day-8 Phosphate went up by 0.7, -dosed 50 ml phyto, 3 hours later added more phyto ½ of the 64oz bottle.
Day -9 -1 vial BioDigest, skimmer, and UV off overnight 6-7 hours.
Day-10-50 ml Phyto-skimmer and UV off 2 hours
Day 11-100 ml of phyto and 1 vial BioDigest- skimmer UV off -4 hours
Day-12-1 vial-Biodigest, 100 ml of phyto- skimmer UV off -4 hours
Day-13-10 ml phyto
Day-14-50 ml WaterGlass silica
Day -15 Nothing tank was very dirty
Day-16- 1 vial of BioDigest skimmer UV off -4 hours
Day 17-5 ml -Sodium Silicate
Break 4 days didn’t add anything-clean glass, blow off sand
Day-22-1 vial BioDigest,50 ml phyto, skimmer UV off -4 hours
Day 23- 50 ml phyto and 50 ml MB clean- skimmer UV off -4 hours
Day-24-phyto-200 ml,1 vial BioDigest, skimmer UV off 4 hours-continue to blow off the sand
Day-25- empty skimmer noticed skimmer was pooling a lot of stuff
Day-26- AM -100 ml phyto and Bottle of ARCTI-PODS®Small 6oz Reef Nutrition/PM-lights off BactoClean per instruction 120 ml-skimmer and UV off per instruction
Day-27-nothing
Day-28-nothing
Day-29 1 vial BioDigest, Phyto 100 ml-UV, and skimmer off overnight 6-7 hours.
I will continue dosing Phyto and BioDigest but I think maybe weekly for now and monthly later on.
