*Salvage protocol for treating very sick fish*
Acriflavine is an antiseptic that is useful for treating bacterial infections. It may also provide temporary relief for velvet and brook.
Antibiotics treats bacterial infections.
Chloroquine Phosphate treats ich, velvet, brook & uronema.
Copper treats ich & velvet only.
Fenbendazole is a dewormer used to treat (prazi resistant) flukes and gastrointestinal parasites (worms).
Formalin treats velvet, brook, uronema, flukes, black ich.
Freshwater Dip provides temporary relief for a wide range of parasites & worms. Can be used to confirm the presence of skin flukes on a fish.
Hydrogen Peroxide bath * provides temporary relief for velvet & brook.

Hyposalinity treats ich & flukes only.
Methylene Blue treats ammonia burn, abrasions, cuts, open wounds. Also contains mild antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal properties. Probably one of the best “first response” treatments for a sick fish.
Metronidazole treats internal parasites, brook and uronema (tank cleansing only).
Praziquantel is a dewormer used to treat flukes, black ich, intestinal worms.
