moving fish to a new tank during QT

That sucks! Sorry! Happens to us all... I was reading a thread on reef2reef about that guy with the 17k gallon tank and he has an amazing looking QT system. He posted "I lost a few peppermint angels..." He is looking to hire someone with fish disease expertise... ahem humble ahem.
I sorta know him. But it's been awhile since we talked tank.

ok so possibly my first run in with some sort of bacterial infection. the royal gramma looks to have a white spot on her.

i'm halfway through copper and was about to do round 2 of general cure, should i go ahead with round 2 of GC while also starting some kind of antibiotic dose? i have kanaplex/metroplex/furan 2 and uhh erthromycin or something, no NFG

and for good measure my starckis seem to be doing well and don't seem to hate each other

their aggression is kind of funny, one chases the other one but only for like 6" or so and then they're immediately next to each other and fine.

and man can all saltwater fish get the memo to be more like damsels. they eat anything!

Ya my starkii acts tough sometimes and chases for like 1 second but never actually bites anything. I have kept one for 5 or 6 years or so and its never caused me any problem where I had to remove a fish or anything and I have mixed them with peaceful things like firefish.

Hopefully your two are as problem free as mine.

yeah my DT is mostly semi aggressive type fish that can defend themselves so i'm not too worried on that front, but for whatever reason there's a decent number of people that say starckis do best singly. i can always split them and keep one in DT and one in my QT observation tank, but keeping them together seems cool too so i'm gonna see how it goes

@mattzang I can't really tell much from the photo. It could just be Lympho and not an infection. Is it spreading or growing in size?
idk, i just saw it yesterday. the fish is pretty shy and hides under the filter when i'm in the room, hence the terrible picture lol.

so just see if it spreads and then dose anti biotics if it does? it did sort of come out of nowhere and the fish is eating well and seems fine if that factors in at all

got a better pic of the gramma, the spot seems to be growing outwards more so i put the gramma in the 20g with the damsels

seems all of the fish are behaving a lot different now with all of the meds in the tank. nobody wanted to eat just now

if it is uronema, what do i do? the other starcki doesn't look to be effected from what i can tell. and i don't have any formalin
Dosing Metronidazole (e.g. Seachem Metroplex) will sometimes treat Uronema, but recently I’ve run up against strains that only Chloroquine or Formalin would control. The affected fish were still lost, but it helped prevent uronema from spreading.

Acquiring formalin is not as difficult as you might think: https://www.amazon.com/Formaldehyde-1000ml-approx-Pharma-grade-shipped/dp/B00CY56QBQ/

already started dosing the trifecta for possible bacteria infection, so metro has been dosed already, but i'll obviously continue with that for the duration. i do have spectrogram on the way, looks like i can combine that and then just dose the metro every other day?

the remaining starcki seems fine and i don't see any issues on it, would it be prudent to try to give it a hydrogen peroxide dip? trying to procure a proper container for it, my mom said she has a large glass container i could probably use

hmm i'll have to sterilize the 10g that had the gramma in it and don't have a container to do the dip in yet

can i dip the gramma too? it has the bacterial infection or whatever the f is going on, i thought hydrogen peroxide on a fish that has wounds was a no go?
