What size did the tank end up being?

Tank is a 135g. Sump is 75g and around 75ish% full. I also have a 90g acrylic tank in the garage I’d like to set up. But I just Havnt had the money for more stuff like lights and another return pump. I would like to track down some mh hardware and runs mh of the shallow tank.

Been wanting one for a while. And found a brand new one locally for 100$. Will mess up my finances for the month. But will eventually make my life easier. Currently use an open top 40g tank for mixing saltwater. And I have to use it fast, or it develops nitrates. I’m assuming from dust since it’s in an unfinished open ceiling area of the house. Hoping this allows me to store water for longer times.

Cleaned the front today. It was covers in coraline. Tanks looking pretty dang good.

Got an algae turf scrubber to install. And hopefully a Roller mat filter if I can get it this weekend.

Nitrates are stupid high. Over 75ppm according to my Hanna.

Cleaned my sump. Still needs a lot of cleaning. Since I’m terrible about changing filter socks.

I won this at the local reef get together. No more filter socks for me.

Drilled a hole in my basement wall and installed a dedicated line for air to my skimmer. So far seems to be working well.

My ph usually drops significantly at night.

My basement is starting to look like a mad scientist live here.

I really need to clean this up. It looks like the back of my tv stand.

But nutrients are dropping! Down to 50ppm. Last time I checked is was 70ppm. So the fleece roller is working well. About half a roll in a month. Now the algae scrubber is hooked up. Hopefully my nutrient drop even more. I got some coral I want to add.
