Pufferfish breathes fast after eating!

Is this normal? He only does it after eating. And I did treat for internal parasites and I didn’t visible see but I think he was just on a hunger strike. I did notice one time he twirled around/rubbed up against the sand and twitched. I think he’s bored too and he’ll be in the big tank very soon with lots of fishy friends. But that was only one time a few days ago other than that I’ve seen no white spots and he is his goofy loves me self who bit my finger twice yesterday lol.

Is there enough gas exchange (oxygen) going in the tank? Puffers tend to become frenzied when eating, and use up more oxygen than normal.

I have a small pump and the filter! But most likely could have more. I never thought about that.
