Question about hyposalinity

So I am doing hyposalinity for flukes. I took 4 days to bring my salinity to 1.010 from 1.018. Did I done something wrong? My LFS said that due to this flukes will not be effected. Is this right? He said that I should bring salinity low within 1-2 days Also I noticed my fish flashing again so should I lower to 1.009? I am sure that it was flukes as I seen white- seed shaped things falling from both of my fishes

You did it right. I reduced the salinity in 3 days. It's not right, but sometimes my salinity is 7 or even 6. The fish tolerate it well, but they say less than 8 is not good

Yup mine also dropped to that 3 yrs ago and my lfs was surprised how my fish are alive. I keep my salinity at 1.016-1.018.

I'll keep for 40 days as I don't want them again in my tank
