What would necessitate the water change? Just normal management of ammonia or something to do with the medicine?

Just got home from work and his eye is doing great. I will do the second dose of meds this evening.

Just added dose 3 of meds. His eye looks amazing. I’m so proud of myself and so thankful to you all. Our Firefish did not make it. Found him dead yesterday morning with a monster chunk missing. I have no doubt it was the Flame Hawkfish. I wonder if the bright colors of the Firefish bothered him. The Flame will sit right next to the Possum Wrasse and do nothing. Hopefully it stays that way.
Great work!! I would agree with your assessment of the Firefish in regards to the Hawkfish being at fault. Sounds right...

Completed 5 full doses of metroplex and Kanaplex. The possum wrasse is like a whole new fish. I’ll take pictures tomorrow but he looks great, the eye looks great and he is very social now.
