Sump is about 10 gallons. Though I have rock in the tank too, so just estimating volume. I waited 3-4 days before I de-chlorinated.

The actual minimum to kill ich tomonts is 60ppm for 24 hours, but I just say 100ppm for 48 hours to account for evaporation. Since you dosed 1.5 cup into 60 gallons of water, then you are probably good to go.

what are people using to test the water after sodium thiosulfate to verify the chorine has be neutralized?
Nothing, just testing for bleach.

+1 I just use chlorine test strips from a pool supply place.
I personally have the Hanna one, but I was using them.
