4 hours later, lots of screws, and sore hands tomorrow! Hewbie’s stand for his new home is done. He tells me he’s so excited for his new bigger home with some fishy friends!

A 55 for now possibly a 75 (if I can find one for a good deal) I know he’ll get bigger and outgrow it most likely but he’s small now so I’m not concerned. Once he gets big I have the 120 he can go to at school.

Just don’t over feed him and he should be fine for a year in a 55.

So I left the tank outside uncovered so I could do the sealant and a bird pooped in it lmao! I realized after I could’ve just left it in the garage after I took it in because the spray enamel didn’t work like I thought it would and I have since covered it!🤦🏻‍♀️😭

Get some good starter bacteria to get things jump started. Tim’s makes some good products. In addition, I would also recommend Seachem Stability for the first week as well. I use it a lot with good results.
