IM Vince's Nuvo 20

So....i got a great deal on a nuvo 20! 350 for a prime and nuvo 20 with stand. This was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to split my corals sps, lps, and softies. Since I'm getting rid of all my other tanks I settle that this is what I wanted long term.

I par tested the tank and the prime is maybe at 30% aiming for no more than 200 where the torch is. The return is powered by a sicce and the flow is plentiful for what I need it for. Maybe a s.all nano pump for some turbulent flow down the line. Transferred the rock and corals from my 40b as well as my two mocha storms. Enjoy some close ups! I'll be on the lookout to add another hammer and a torch or 2. As for dosing I ordered a Bluetooth kamoer doser and ill probably just use my leftover all for reef. Otherwise kalk for the ph bump.

Picked up a new torch to help fill in the space a little and it's adjusting well. My clownfish decided that they didn't like my cleaner shrimp and killed him 😥. Found him as a hat on the urchin in the morning. These corals are really happy compared to when they were in the 40b. I did let that tank go a bit

Oh no! And it wasn’t just a molt?

My shrimp would typically hide after molting so maybe the same is happening to you 🤞
Nope! I checked and it was guts and all. when I initially put the shrimp on they were biting him already i just hoped the shrimp would hide and the clowns would get over it.

tank is looking fantastic! The torch coral has recovered well the smaller one is getting there. Corals are nice and fluffy and extended otherwise. I’ve been dosing aminos and reef roids to help bring up the nutrients. Pods are blooming corraline algae is taking off. Started dosing all for reef too.

Picked up a biota dark side torch and a tiny mandarin! He will stay in here all to himself for now I added a lot of pods and even some amphipods. Corals are doing very well bryopsis has just taken over a bit. Gotta get some time to go in and manually remove a bunch.
