Welcome. I think both parties chose wisely with regards to carrying on the future of TBS. Reading 'About Us' tells the tale. Siblings, best friends, and business partners. It is rare when the stars align to tie together business, something you like to do or passion, and family. The trifecta of success and we are not even talking about how they are helping both hobby and environment.

Welcome Jocelyn and Madelyn. I wish you both many, many, years of success.

Welcome. Some of the best rock around.
So tell us a little about what is going on?
Are you still shipping by plane in water like Richard did?
are there going to be different shipping options too?
I heard you planted some more Walt Smith rock again? how far along is it if you did?
You shipping something other like live sand, sea grasses, sponges, gorgonians, fish, clean up crew or anything like that?
live sand is becoming popular again and there seems to be a uptick in people wanting sea grasses.

I actually looked on the site and it answered some of my questions.. Last time I had looked the site was still under construction. (y)

Nice to see TBS selling again. I have about 25 pounds of rock from one of the last batches pre shutdown. It’s great stuff. Mind the crabs though haha

Yes, welcome!! I was just on your site last night after reading about your service on another forum.

I'm moving the contents of my 19-month-old 15-gallon nano into a 90-gallon display with a 40+ gallon sump. I plan on adding 20-30 lbs of your live base rock into that big sump to help augment the growth of the system. This will be my first system using live rock so any advice is welcome.

Howdy @Shred5, sorry for the delay.
We are so happy to have the new website up. Of course, we are still improving it. Jocelyn has documented 65 Gulf of Mexico hitchhikers that we see and will be adding all those to our site soon as we type it out.
Yes, we are shipping air cargo and next day UPS in a flat rate box size (Treasure Chest section of website).
The Walt Smith rock is a fast grower. We believe this is due to the Fijian sand, coral skeletons and a natural Fijian beach secret ingredient that they use.
We are really excited about the live sand we have on the lease site, it is ultra-premium quality for lifeforms, varied shapes & colors...
We basically have Gulf of Mexico critters for sale that are beneficial for live rock/sand and have not begun targeting gorgonians, although there are a lot on the site.

Congrats on the larger system! Love a big sump!

Base rock is perfect for either a lit refugium chamber or a dark cryptic chamber of a sump.
The nice thing about adding ocean live rock to a sump is that you won't have to worry about a potential unwanted crab in the display tank. We do our best to eliminate crabs by shaking rock before it is lifted up to the boat, shaking rock in the harvest barrels, and inspecting each rock as it moves into the holding system.
One thing to keep in mind with ocean harvested rock shipped submerged is that it should not be "cured", it is very alive & healthy, our rock should go directly into a functioning aquarium.
We harvest & ship weekly, so your product is very fresh!
Happy to answer questions.
