I recently picked up four pairs of clownfish. They were laying so I have chosen to observe and hopefully avoid medication.

I haven't observed any funny behavior in any of the pairs. They arrived to me on 3/4. Today I noticed a mark on both sides of one clownfish. I haven't noticed it before. Look at the middle white band.

Could be anything, likely nothing. I seriously would not be concerned with disease in laying pairs.

Maybe their grandparents were frostbites.

Obviously observe but if they are laying it's very unlikely to be an issue. The biggest issue you will have going forward is avoiding cross contamination.
