They have no place to go, mine have started to morph which is kind of cool. I’m at the stage of gluing sps on top of zoanthids if I get new pieces. What happens with the zoas growing towards the acros? I found some of my zoas like higher light so I put them somewhat close to acros and am curious what happens when they meet
The age old ohhow much stuff do I have in the sump! lol new sump looks great though! You definitely need to get a skimmer silencer by the sounds of it lol
nice new sump![]()
I think that would be awesome. I’ve thought it would be cool to have multiple smaller tanks connected to a sump and do single coral species tanks. All monti, all zoa, all toadstools, etcMy dream is to have this tank plumbed into a 150 gallon rubbermaid sump in the basement.

The 3’ length on this tank just makes it seem bigger than it is
Yeah, I'm not super big on multiple tanks, but every time I try to go up I just want to go back to the nano 100% dedicated. At this stage, all the vortechs are new, new finnex heater w/ controller, lights are made for a 100 gallon tank at least, and now a new sump. The Reef Octopus 110 INT is probably the best skimmer I've ever owned in terms of performance, the next BIG issue I see myself having in this tank is coral warfare. It's ass to ankles front to back in there and corals are rapidly encrusting.
I should probably break out the DSLR and snap some photos soon, but I've learned from @Wrangy not to make promises about those types of things!

@YHSublime That's one BAD ASS looking tank!![]()
You are not crazy... crazy is not using the little space you haveHow many of you are running "frag tanks" in your sump? How many of you are running wavemakers in your sump?!
Am I crazy? Should I do it?!
Here's an old glory days shot for attention. I'm slowly working my way back to this, but there's a hell of a lot more LPS and softies now this go around, I kind of like the really mixed reef, but I forgot how fast the easy stuff grows!
